Karahi-cooked shrimp with Bengali five spices and gourd, soft poori
Eat the Street
Babur has presented traditional regional cooking from India since opening in 1985 and we continue to do so enthusiastically. From the time of our re-launch in 2005 we’ve tried to give a taste of modern Indian cooking as it is practiced both here and in India. So for our 32nd Baburthday we’re featuring the street food of India, a part of the life of every city, neighborhood and village in India, the food people eat every day in their hundreds of millions.
These are all meant for sharing between the table, and three individual items are equivalent to a two-course meal. We hope you will enjoy them.
